o 11th annual Jefferson Township alumni banquet , for all alumni from Upland, Matthews and Jefferson Township high school, will be Saturday at Hodson Dining Commons, Taylor University, Upland; registration and social hour at 4:45 p.m., dinner at 6 p.m. Entertainment by the Class of 1958. Cost is $17.

Area residents among victims of 11-vehicle crash (The Hannibal Courier-Post)

Lydia Miller, 55, of Canton, and Charles K. Cason, 55, of Caseyville, Ill., were pronounced dead at the scene of an 11-vehicle accident at 3:40 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, on U.S. 40 in St. Louis County.
